Mint leaves increase the secretion of gastric juice, stimulate the production of bile, and improve the functioning of the intestines. They are used as a carminative agent, in digestive disorders, in diseases of the liver and bile ducts. They also have antibacterial and slightly calming properties. Peppermint oil has a similar but stronger effect, especially as a disinfectant and sedative. Used externally in rhinitis, for inhalation in the case of pharyngitis and bronchitis. It is also a component of preparations for internal use in cholangitis and in liver or intestinal diseases.
This poster, as well as the entire series, was painted especially for us. After painting, the poster is digitally scanned and then printed on our highest quality papers.
