MOUNTAINS OWLS is a special poster as well as a very original region in itself. It is a mountain range in the Central Sudetes, in the Lower Silesia Province, in the shape of a huge uplifted embankment. The Sowie Mountains cover an area of approx. 200 km², extend over a length of 26 km and are located between the Wałbrzyskie and Wałbrzyskie Mountains from the west and the Bardzkie Mountains from the east. These mountains, with the exception of clearings, in the vicinity of the summits and the passes are completely covered with spruce forest. Mainly built of Precambrian gneisses. The most characteristic representative of the fauna of the Sowie Mountains is the mouflon, whose population in this region is the largest in the entire Sudetes.
