The Lego Man poster is a reproduction of the Lego Man's patent by Godtfred K. Christiansen and Jens N. Knudsen. Patent No. USD253711S was issued in 1979 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The Lego brick system was created in 1949 in Billund by a Danish toy company. The brick connection mechanism was patented in 1958. The first human-shaped toys appeared in 1974 in the sets of Legofamily. The following year, the first minifigures appeared, and since 1978, mass production in the current shape, consisting of 6 types of elements: legs with hips, torso, arms, hands, head and hair, began. The bricks brought Lego worldwide success. Almost every child in the world has been dreaming about Lego bricks for decades. The Danish company has created the most valuable toy brand in the world, valued at 7.6 billion dollars in 2017. Lego products are mostly children's bricks, divided into various thematic categories. However, the company actively licenses its popular brand and their logos can also be found on all kinds of children's products, in particular on clothes and school supplies. There were also numerous cartoons, animated films and computer games devoted to the world of the brand's heroes.
The Lego poster is the perfect gift for every brick fan.
