Posters "Maps of the world"
poster from the series "Maps of the world" presents the most beautiful countries in the world, those that are often chosen as a destination by tourists from all over the world. The leading theme, "Map", is shown in a perverse, unconventional way - it only complements the presented scenery, not its main element. The series aims to show the beauty of these countries, focusing mainly on nature, not on urban buildings. Each poster shows one of the most recognizable landscape features of a given country. The entire series of "World Maps" has been prepared by a young artist from Tczew, Karolina Wiśniewska.
Poster Map of Great Britain
This poster depicts a special region, the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom poster shows a beautiful view of the Seven Sisters. This is a group of spectacular cliffs on the south coast of England (County of East Sussex), located on the English Channel at the mouth of the River Cuckmere into the sea. These rocks were formed millions of years ago (during the Cretaceous period) when the area was completely covered by water. Only later uplift movements and centuries of erosion formed the current coastline. It is not so much the rocks themselves that make the stunning impression, but the breathtaking views and the landscape breaking away over the precipice. The cliffs are gradually eroded, each year the water shortens them by about 30 to 40 cm. Each sisterhood has its own name: Haven Brow, Short Brow, Rough Brow, Brass Point, Flagstaff Point, Flat Hill, Baily's Hill and Went Hill Brow. Despite their name, there are actually eight in total.
